Organize all your favorite recipes in one central database. Lookup recipes by category, preparation method, length of time, or author. Print a specific recipe or an entire cookbook, with specialized options, cover pages, table of contents, category separators and an index. Copy recipes to other programs such as your word processor or email them to friends. Use the search function to scan all recipes for a particular item.

Using our grocery list of 340 items you can quickly prepare your weekly grocery lists, track items you have coupons for and calculate your grocery’s cost. You can also easily add your own special grocery needs to our list.

Do you have a favorite recipe but you can never remember where it is? Just enter the name of the recipe, category, sub-category, and the cookbook and page number into HMS. You don't need to enter all the ingredients or instructions. The next time you wish to access this recipe, just do a search and HMS will tell you which cookbook and page number to find your recipe.

Would you like to enter a lot of recipes into A/C but don't want to do the typing for the ingredients and instructions? If you have a scanner, scan the cookbook page using OCR text or find your favorite recipe on the web and then cut and paste the information into A/C HMS.

The screen shot above shows you the Browse the Recipe File screen. There are windows on this screen that will let you view the ingredients and the preparation instructions for the highlighted recipe. You can also print this highlighted recipe. There are six tabs that allow you to sort your recipes in various ways. This allows you to quickly find any recipe in your database. Use the Copy button to transfer the recipe to another program, i.e. your word processor. Use the Email button to send this recipe to a friend or relative.

The screen shot above shows you the General Tab on the Changing Recipe screen. Enter your recipe title and author. Select the appropriate categories and enter other general information regarding your recipe. You can attach a picture or you can enter the name of your favorite cookbook and the page number so you can locate your favorite recipes with an easy search. You can also access the Recipe Journal in which you can record when, for whom, and the results of preparing this recipe.

You can type your ingredients here or use standard Windows Copy & Paste functions to enter the data from other applications.
